Shire Tech provides Limited Warranty on hardware only. There is no warranty for software or configuration. This Limited Warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the Warranty Period.
What will we do to correct problems?
If the product is returned within 7 days of Invoice, Shire Tech at its discretion will replace or repair the product at no charge. Beyond this 7 day period, terms of warranty are subject to the manufacturers terms & conditions. We are happy to liaise with the manufacturer on your behalf. Please note this may be a chargeable service.
How long does this coverage last?
Unless otherwise stated, the default Warranty Period for hardware is 12 months. A replacement hardware item or part assumes the remaining warranty of the original hardware.
What does this limited warranty not cover?
This limited warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by:
Conditions, malfunctions, or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship
Opened software products, due to copyright and DRM issues
Digital, and electronically delivered products
Software related services, including but not limited to antivirus and tune up services. Shire Tech has no control over your devices once they have left the store, and can therefore provide no guarantee on these services
What do you have to do?
Please contact us to determine the problem and the most appropriate solution for you. We reserve the right to test the product before the issue of a refund or replacement. For any warranties proof of purchase is required.
On Site Work
Please test your computer and other IT devices before the technician leaves the premises. If the technician is required to return, it will be a new chargeable job.
Title to the goods shall not pass to the purchaser until payment in full of all goods and services on all invoices is received.
